Protection Policy
PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY
1. DEFINITIONS
- All terms not specifically defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meanings set out in the Terms of use agreement.
- "Collected Information" means the information as defined in clause 3, whether on its own, aggregated, in the form of statistics or otherwise.
- "Privacy Policy" means this privacy policy in its original or amended version as set out on Youtaa.com.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF PRIVACY POLICY
- This Privacy Policy is entered between the User and Youtaa. Youtaa is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy describes the terms on which Youtaa may collect, use, process and/ or transfer your Collected Information and explains how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.
- Users must read All Agreements, including this Privacy Policy, carefully before using Youtaa.com. By accessing or using Youtaa.com, Users understand and agree to be bound by the terms of All Agreements, including this Privacy policy. If Users do not agree to such terms, they must not use Youtaa.com.
- This Privacy Policy is effective on 30 August 2010 for current Users and on accessing Youtaa.com for new Users.
3. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- When Users use Youtaa.com, register to become a Member or a Premium Member, download or upload information, make a payment on Youtaa.com, Youtaa can collect the following information:
- * Registration Information - information Youtaa needs to know to complete the registration process, including name, address, agent's name, etc.
- * User Content - information Users post or upload to Youtaa.com, including in relation to selling and buying requests, business profiles, forums, networks.
- * Payment Information - information relating to any credit account Users may create with Youtaa, or if you purchase Products from Youtaa or Members, including credit card numbers, billing information, expiry dates and tracking information from cheques or money orders if such information was retained by Youtaa unintentionally because of a technical problem or otherwise.
- * Statistical Information - IP addresses, browser software, operating system, pages viewed, number of sessions, unique visitors.
- We gather this information to, amongst other reasons, allow us to process your registration, open an account for you, enable you to pay when conducting sale and purchase transactions and provide you with our services.
4. HOW YOUTAA MAY USE THE COLLECTED INFORMATION
- The Collected Information is then used by us, our employees, agents and/ or sub-contractors to:
- * communicate with you on any matter relating to the conduct of your account, including to investigate problems, resolve disputes and enforce All Agreements
- * monitor our web site usage in order to help us support the operation of or develop Youtaa.com, our services and our strategy
- * contact you regarding the services we provide you, any special features or other services which we think may be of interest to you
- * contact you regarding related information from third parties which we think may be of interest to you.
- Youtaa may use different types of Collected Information differently, for example:
- * Registration Information - information used in relation to existing, additional or future services; notices; surveys; alerts
- * User Content - this is public information licensed to Youtaa, please refer to the User Agreement and exercise caution when you submit personal or proprietary information.
- * Payment Information - information used and shared with banks, PayPal, or relevant third parties to enable transactions to be completed or to determine your credit-worthiness. Youtaa does not maintain electronic or physical copies of your credit card information.
- * Statistical Information - information used to help diagnose problems with and to maintain our computer servers, to develop Youtaa.com, our services and our strategy.
5. TRANSFER OF THE COLLECTED INFORMATION
- 5.1 Third parties
- Youtaa may provide the Collected Information to third parties, but this will not include information that can be used to identify any individual, except that we may provide your information to carefully selected third parties whose services we believe may be of interest to you. The Collected Information may be stored, transferred, used and processed outside your home jurisdiction.
- 5.2 Sale of business
- In the event that Youtaa or its business is sold or integrated with another business, your Collected Information may be disclosed to our advisers and prospective purchasers' advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.
- 5.3 Authorities
- In the event that Youtaa or its business is sold or integrated with another business, your Collected Information may be disclosed to our advisers and prospective purchasers' advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.Youtaa reserves the right to disclose your Collected Information to relevant law enforcement authorities or any third party as is necessary:
- * to comply with applicable laws or regulations,
- * where we believe that such disclosure is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against any User who may be infringing or threatening to infringe, or who may otherwise be causing injury to or interference with, the title, rights, interests or property of Youtaa, Users, or any third party who may be harmed by such activities ; or
- * to bring legal proceedings or prevent further injury to Youtaa, affiliates, employees, agents and/ or sub-contractors if we believe that a User has breached any of the terms of any of All Agreements.
6. OUR USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER INFORMATION GATHERING TECHNOLOGIES
- We use "cookies" to store specific information about Users and track their visits to Youtaa. It is not uncommon for websites to use cookies to enhance identification of their users. A "cookie" is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie can be sent to your computer's hard drive only if you access Youtaa.com using the computer. If you do not de-activate or erase the cookie, each time you use the same computer to access Youtaa.com, our web servers will be notified of your visit to Youtaa.com and in turn we may have knowledge of your visit and the pattern of your usage. Generally, we use cookies to:
- * identify you and enable you to access your Registration Information, User Content or Payment Information so you do not have to re-enter it;
- * gather statistical information about usage by Users;
- * research visiting patters and help target advertisements based on User interests;
- * assist our partners to track User visits to Youtaa.com and process orders; and
- * track progress and participation in promotions.
- You can determine if and how a cookie will be accepted by configuring your browser's which is installed in the computer you are using to access Youtaa.com. If you so desire, you can change those configurations in your browser. By setting your preferences in the browser, you can accept all cookies, you can be notified when a cookie is sent, or you can reject all cookies. If you reject all cookies by choosing the cookie-disabling function in your browser, you may be required to re-enter your information on Youtaa.com more often and certain features of Youtaa.com may be unavailable.
7. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
- We employ commercially reasonable security methods to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure correct use of information.
- As a Member, your Registration Information, User Content and Payment Information may be viewed and edited through your account which is protected by a password. You must not divulge your password to third parties. Our employees will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. If you share a computer with others, you should not choose to save your log-in information (e.g., identification code and password) on the computer. Remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window when you have finished your session.
- No data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secured. As a result, while we try to protect your information, no website or company, including ourselves, can absolutely ensure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.
8. UPDATING YOUR DETAILS
- If any of the information that you have provided to Youtaa changes, for example if you change your email address, name or payment details, you must promptly amend your Registration Form. If you encounter any problems in doing so, please let us know by sending an email to contact@youtaa.com.
